Psychological power is based on the ability to influence, manipulate, and control others, not through physical or legal force, but through cognitive and emotional mechanisms.

The use of psychological power involves exploiting emotions, fears, desires, and the perception of reality in others to gain an advantage over them.

This can be achieved through several means:

• Emotional influence: Provoking affective reactions that alter a person’s perception (guilt, admiration, fear).
• Control of information: Influencing what someone knows in order to shape their choices.
• Exploitation of dependency: Identifying a person’s psychological weaknesses to bring them under control.
• Implicit submission: Manipulating someone without them realizing they are under influence.

🔹 Why Is the Human Brain Receptive to Psychological Power?

Humans are designed to function in a hierarchical society.

Our brain has evolved to seek a balance between submitting to authority and exercising dominance over others.

This duality means that whenever an opportunity arises to gain a psychological advantage, some individuals will automatically exploit it, even without being fully aware of it.
